What’s a lesson you had to learn the hard way, and how has it shaped your leadership?

One of the toughest lessons I had to learn was the importance of adaptability in an ever-changing market. Early on, I was hesitant to embrace new technologies and strategies, sticking to what I knew best. However, the rapidly evolving real estate landscape taught me that staying flexible and open to change is crucial. This realization has shaped my leadership style by encouraging a culture of continuous learning and innovation within my team.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

I would tell my younger self to trust the journey and not rush success. Each step, including the missteps, holds valuable lessons that contribute to personal and professional growth. Embracing patience and resilience would have made those early challenges feel less daunting and more like stepping stones toward a fulfilling career.

When was the last time you took a big risk, and what did you learn from it?

Transitioning to a digital-first approach in my business was a significant risk, especially given my traditional roots in the industry. This shift required investing in new tools and retraining my team. Through this experience, I learned that taking calculated risks can lead to substantial growth and open doors to new opportunities that might not have been visible before.

What legacy do you hope to leave through your work?

I hope to leave a legacy of empowerment and education. By equipping clients and colleagues with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed, I aim to inspire a new generation of informed homeowners and industry professionals. My goal is for my work to be remembered for creating pathways to financial freedom and homeownership dreams, paving the way for lasting prosperity.

How do you stay aligned with your values when making tough decisions?

Staying aligned with my values requires a deep understanding of what truly matters to me and those I serve. In difficult situations, I pause to reflect on how each decision aligns with my core beliefs, such as integrity, empathy, and empowerment. I consider the long-term effects on my clients and my team, ensuring that each choice supports our collective mission of fostering growth and opportunity. Seeking input from trusted advisors and maintaining an open dialogue also helps keep my compass true.

What’s one mindset shift that changed everything for you?

One pivotal mindset shift for me was embracing the idea that challenges are opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. This perspective transformed how I approach setbacks, viewing them as valuable lessons that shape my journey. It’s allowed me to remain resilient and optimistic, encouraging continuous learning and adaptation. By focusing on possibilities rather than limitations, I’ve been able to navigate the ever-evolving world of real estate with confidence and creativity.
